Dr. Hershel Ginsburg is a senior patent attorney at Sanford T. Colb & Co.,
who is licensed to practice before the Israel and US patent offices.
Hershel specializes in biotechnology-related areas of intellectual property
since moving to Israel in 1995. Prior to moving to Israel,
he worked as a scientist and technology "bird-dog" in the biotechnology
diversification effort of a major US oil corporation where the group of
which he was a member developed reagents and instrumentation for
fluorescence-labeled DNA probes used in cancer diagnostics.
Hershel received his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Genetics from the University of Arizona,
his M.Sc. in Microbiology from Rutgers University, and his B.A. in Psychology from Yeshiva University.
